A Sister’s Gift: Help Gabrielle & Victoria Heal Together
Story
An inspiring story of love, sacrifice, and hope.
Last July, our beloved Gabrielle—just 25 years old and full of life—received devastating news: she had stage 4 kidney disease. Up until then, Gabby had been the picture of health. The diagnosis was not only shocking but life-changing.
As her condition rapidly worsened, doctors confirmed she would need a kidney transplant to survive. Her family immediately sprang into action, hoping one of them would be a match. And in a beautiful twist of fate, her older sister Victoria, 28, turned out to be a perfect match.
Victoria, a single mother of two young daughters (Isabella, 4, and Olivia, 20 months), didn’t think twice. She selflessly stepped forward to save her sister’s life.
A pediatric occupational therapist assistant by profession, Victoria took time off work to undergo the necessary testing and prepare for the transplant. Meanwhile, Gabrielle had been unable to work for many months due to the severe symptoms of her illness.
Thanks to the amazing medical team at Tampa General Hospital, the transplant was moved up from November to May 22, 2025—and it was a success! Both sisters are now recovering at home with their family, supported by love and gratitude.
But healing takes time, and neither Gabrielle nor Victoria will be able to return to work right away. We’re asking for help during this critical recovery period—any contribution, big or small, will help with living expenses, medical bills, and giving these two amazing women the time they need to heal.
If you’ve ever believed in the power of family, love, or miracles—this is your chance to make a difference.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and support.
